November 2025 Precipitation Report

November was an overall dry month but seemed wet at times.  There was measurable precipitation on 13 of the first 17 days but only in small amounts.  Less days of moisture the second half of November. The monthly total is 2.36 inches compared to the normal of 3.53″. More than an inch below the average.  Year to date with just one month to go my total is 43.42″, just a few hundreds above the NOAA normal of 43.24″.

The November snow total here was only 0.2″ compared to my average of 2.8″.  Another 0.4″ was recorded this morning from yesterday.  It was a relatively cold month compared to recent Novembers and cloudy as usual. I don’t keep temp records but this month’s electric use was 468 kWh compared to last year at 336 kWh.  Using heat pumps for heating and hot water.  My electric production was also down about 50 kWh compared to last November for some community solar located up in Townsend.

All numbers are from my location in the S.E. corner of Brattleboro and do vary with location.
