The Brattleboro Department of Public Works is responding to a second water main break on Pine Street in the area of Fuller Drive. Public Works crews will be working at this location, along with the previously reported water main break at Green Street.
Residents throughout Brattleboro may experience low water pressure, a temporary loss of water service, or discoloration for several hours as crews isolate the affected water mains and begin repairs.
There is currently no indication that the water is unsafe to drink. The Town will continue to assess the situation and notify the public if additional precautions become necessary.
Residents experiencing discolored water should allow their cold water to run until it becomes clear before using it.
