Suzanne Kingsbury, Best-selling Author and Founder of Gateless Writing, Inc.

Suzanne Kingsbury is a bestselling author, her books have been published by Scribner, translated widely abroad and optioned for film.  She is the founder of Gateless Writing, Inc., a critically acclaimed organization that moves writers to the point of publication and beyond by providing retreats, career trainings, and mentorship. Her writers have gone on to sign with top agents, secured six figure book deals, garnered top media attention and become successful authors. She lives and works in Guilford Connecticut.

Sarah Bowen, Artist, Educator, and Co-Creator of ACWC Creativity Forums

Sarah Bowen is an artist, educator, and co-creator of the ‘Nourishing the Inner Artist series.’ Her paintings have been exhibited nationally and have received support from the National Endowment of the Arts, the Vermont Arts Council, and the Vermont Art Endowment Fund. She has held artist residencies at a number of art and educational organizations and has been a professor of visual art and spirituality at Union Institute and University in Montpelier, Vermont. Created through the day-to-day interaction of a meditative life with engaged studio process, her paintings are personal visualizations of wholeness, spiritual connection, and transcendence.

Claire Arenius, Jazz Musician, Composer, and Educator

Claire Arenius, a jazz drummer, improvisor and composer,  explores the creative landscapes of jazz, electronic music, multi-media work, sound and composition, always open to the musical gifts the universe has to offer.   She has been performing and composing for 40 years, including performances in NYC, Boston, New England and Europe and South America, and also serves as adjunct music faculty at Smith and Amherst Colleges as well as the Vermont Jazz Center.

Shanta Lee Gander, Artist, Consultant, Co-Creator of ACWC Creativity Forums, and Moderator of the program

Shanta Lee Gander is an artist and multi-faceted professional in leadership, marketing, management, event planning, and other areas. As an artist, her endeavors incorporate writing prose, poetry, and articles, as well as photography. Shanta shares a consulting business with her husband, Gander Consulting, L.L.C. and has co-designed  ACWC’s creativity forums, Nourishing the Inner Artist: Conversations about Art, Creativity, and Imagination, which reaches the watershed region (VT, NH, and MA) launching on March 22, 2018.  , she is completing a number of book projects including a book, Ghosts of Cuba In Black & White:  An American Interracial Couple’s Month-Long Quest for Meaning in Havana in the Age of Trump Told In Images and Words, that she is co-authoring with her husband debuting in spring 2019.
