Vermont Comedy All Stars return to Next Stage Arts for a Special Holiday Stand-up Comedy Event on Friday, December 9th at 7:30pm

Gordon Clark and his Vermont Comedy All-Stars are back for a special holiday stand-up comedy event at Next Stage Arts!

“We all need reasons to laugh, and the Vermont Comedy All Stars do an outstanding job,” says Keith Marks, Executive Director of Next Stage Arts.

The cast of stellar performers includes:

LEAH BONNEMA is a Los Angeles based comedian hailing from rural Maine. Her broadcast credits include The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Chris Gethard Presents, Oculus & AXS TV’s Gotham Comedy Live, IFC’s Comedy Crib, TruTV’s Comedy Knockout and Vh1’s 100 Greatest series. Leah has had the honor of performing for our troops overseas, and has featured in numerous comedy festivals, including The New York Comedy Festival, The Lucille Ball Comedy Fest at The National Comedy Center, The Women in Comedy Festival, The International Glasgow Comedy Fest, Bumbershoot and The Kennedy Center’s District of Comedy Festival in Washington DC.

COREY STEVEN FLYNN is a comedian based out of Montpelier Vermont. He has appeared at The Vermont Comedy Club, Hempfest in New Hampshire, and the New York Comedy Night in Paris, France. When not performing or writing, he is busy feeding his 12-year-old child, which he is legally obligated to do for another 6 years.

TINA FRIML is a New York-based comedian originally from Burlington, Vermont, who rocketed to prominence after winning the 2018 Vermont’s Funniest Comedian Contest, followed by the 2019 Seven Daysie award for Best Standup Comic in Vermont. She was then named a “New Face to Watch” in the 2019 Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal, and has since performed at clubs around the country, including Caroline’s on Broadway in New York City, and been featured in numerous festivals including the New York Comedy Festival, the Limestone Comedy Festival, and the NBC Comedy Spotlight in the Women in Comedy Festival. Tina has continued to be a frequent performer at her home club, the Vermont Comedy Club in Burlington, including two sold out shows in Spring of 2022, and was listed as one of Seven Days’ most influential female comics in Vermont.

MARK SALTVEIT has performed everywhere from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland (where he will produce two shows in 2023), to the disco lounge of a Chinese restaurant in a small Oregon logging town. A recent import from the West Coast and regular on the stand up circuit there, Mark has featured for numerous national acts including Dave Attell, Jake Johannsen, Laurie Kilmartin, Tig Notaro, and Bob Saget. He is also a sports writer, a published author (with humor columns appearing in Seven Days), and the 2017 World Palindrome Champion – in other words, a smart guy!
