No Palm Trees in Brattleboro

The ice at the poles are the highest since measurements, but the warming models predict otherwise! Oh well, it’s good to be wrong unless you ‘re a palm tree salesmen !

  • Orange Grove

    They aren’t palms, but I do have a pair of orange trees. I bring them inside in winter for now, but I will have the first orange grove in Vermont in a few decades. : )

    Yeah, scientists don’t know what is up with Antarctic ice. It’s been increasing each decade. They’ve only watched it for a short time (since about 1979) and aren’t very confident of stating any trends there.

    Of course, Arctic ice, much closer to us, is continuing to melt rapidly, and ice shelves are collapsing.
