We wish our correspondents to understand, that we are Whigs – that our Paper is Whig, and that we wish to devote all our energies to the Whig cause. We however feel that the cause of Liberty is identified with the Whig cause; and not so far as they are identified, we will open our columns to the discussion of principles, and no further – ourselves being judges.
