Vermont Workers’ Center Get Involved Meeting

Join us on September 25, 1-2:30 PM at Brooks Memorial Library Meeting Room, 224 Main St.
to learn more about the Workers’ Center, the Healthcare Is A Human Right campaign, and ways to be involved. We’ll share basic information about the Workers’ Center, a grassroots member-run organization that organizes for a more just and democratic (small ‘d’) Vermont.

We are a statewide organization with an active local committee in Windham County. Through our Healthcare Is A Human Right campaign we are organizing for the right of all people to access healthcare and for a healthcare system that is equitable, participatory, transparent, and accountable. We believe that all workers have the right to dignity at work, including decent wages and working conditions and the right to unionize.

RSVPs not required, but encouraged. To RSVP, or if you have questions, contact windham@workerscenter.org. If you’d like to attend but can’t make that date or time, please let us know as other get involved meetings will be scheduled in the coming months.
