I always thought that he sounded a lot like Joe Cocker. My theory was that one of them was missing top front teeth and the other was missing lower front teeth. Never was able to find out. Opinion?

A loss for sure
I loved Richie Haven’s music- his generous and kind spirit seemed to come through in his music. When I lived in Boston I owned a catering company and used to do catering for many of the music venues around town. I had the great privilege of providing backstage catering for Mr. Havens at one of his concerts at Sanders Theater in Cambridge. He was a funny, kind and lovely person and treated my staff and me very well (which wasn’t always the case with other performers) I have great memories of that concert. RIP, Richie.
