Minecraft-Loving Gamer Magazines?

My nephew is into video games. For those of you with pre-teens, are there any video game magazines that are popular with younger gamers? Minecraft, Sonic… that sort of thing?

If you have (grand)kids into Minecraft, could you ask them for present suggestions for me. Thanks! Any advice is welcome.

      Well, I did ask a friend of mine who has 2 pre teens and a teenager – all of whom are into Minecraft. She said most of the books they have are online editions- either on Kindled or on their tablets. Didn’t know if you were looking for actual paper magazines rather than digital?

        E-books are a good suggestion. I was kinda hoping for something that could arrive monthly to match something similar for his sisters, but that may be impossible.

        I saw a big, expensive-looking caffe-table sized Minecraft book at Everyone’s Books the other day. Hmm…

        I’ll poke around Bakers, too, to see if there are any monthly gaming magazines. My first look showed that many seemed geared toward specific game boxes.

          If you want to venture out of town in your search I bet Barnes and Noble would have a large selection and ToadStool Book shop in Keene has a nice magazine section – more variety than Bakers. Good luck!

            I happened to be in Keene today at The Toadstool Book Store doing some Christmas shopping for my grandson and took a look through their magazine section to see if they carried any Minecraft magazines. No luck. Thought I could give you a lead. The search continues? Sorry.

            The best video game stuff all seems to be online, and probably easily available to kids looking for it.
