In the vein of a recent post to iBratt, does anyone have information on how to dispell a curse or a hex, from a Voodoo doll or otherwise? Some may see this as a frivolous request but it is not. Confirmation that there is, indeed, a curse applied would hopefully be part of the protocol.

cursing
Well, if you aren’t sure a curse is on you, there probably isn’t one. And if you are a scientist, you cannot be cursed. It is impossible.
If you read stories of people who say they have been put under a voodoo curse, they “know” they have been cursed. They report things like paralysis, being unable to talk, and so on. They are also pretty certain they know who placed the curse. There were occasional stories at Howard University by students swearing “those girls from the islands” placed a curse on someone. Everyone involved would swear it was true. : )
Like placebos, no cure will work unless you think it will work.
I was watching a PBS documentary about the history of the AIDS epidemic this weekend and saw a group of ACT Up activists march with a dead body to the campaign headquarters of George Bush Sr. They gave a speech, then placed a curse on Bush on the eve of the election (vs. Clinton). The curse was that their dead friend would haunt Bush from that evening until his last breath, continually reminding him of the deaths he caused by inaction on the issue.
