  hmmm...

  There are places that used to sell a toy version (a cloth doll with areas marked on it, if I recall correctly) – maybe beadnicks could help point you in the right direction, or special order one? They’ve had magic tricks and toys for a while.

  My knowledge of voodoo mostly comes from stories I’ve heard and old TV shows and movies. I doubt Gilligan (Ep. 73, Voodoo) or Abbott & Costello (Comin’ Round the Mountain) were aiming for any sort of accuracy, but if they were, it would seem that making a doll yourself, then obtaining some item from the intended target would establish the necessary connections.

  I have to say, I really love this question. It has so much mystery built in to it, and the imagination can run wild with speculation.

  (Knowing the real who, what and why would probably be a let down… : ) )
