UPS Delivery Problems?

Has anyone else been having problems receiving delivery from the Brattleboro UPS terminal? I have had a package “out for delivery” in Marlboro for four days now (Friday, Monday, Tuesday, and today) and at the end of each day I get an email that the package is delayed, even though the UPS tracking system says it’s on the truck. An email to UPS has had no response, and it’s impossible to speak to anyone at the UPS 800 number.

There are no weather or road problems AFAIK.

Does anyone know what’s going on?

  • Probably Backlogged

I received a UPS package two nights ago at about 9PM. They must be very backlogged.

  • Their site has a tiny bit of info, but not helpful to this

They claim to be operating normally most of the time:

“The majority of our services continue with the same expected delivery timeframes our customers have come to expect. While we have suspended our Service Guarantee in light of overall Coronavirus uncertainties, we remain committed to providing timely and reliable service.”

    of course, they also say:

“Within the U.S., UPS is designated among the government’s critical infrastructure and, therefore, continues to operate. The Novel Coronavirus pandemic has created unprecedented complexities, which have required us to constantly reassess our operations. Our highest priority is to help ensure the health and safety of our employees, customers, and suppliers.”

Personally, I wouldn’t use UPS to ship a rock
