Walking on Spain’s Camino de Santiago To Be Focus of Online Presentation January 31

Spain’s thousand-year-old pilgrimage trail will be the focus of an online presentation on January 31 at 7:00 pm. Camino guides Betsy Bates of Dummerston and Bob Lawson of Putney will talk about what it’s like to walk the varied sections of the pilgrimage path while sharing the best of their photos, taken over many years.

The Camino is 500 miles long, running from the Pyrenees in France across the northern portion of Spain to Santiago de Compostela. Moving from village to village and across farm fields, the Camino attracts walkers from all over the world.

The presenters have each walked on the Camino numbers of times, mostly recently in October of this past Autumn.
