New Breakfast Spot In Town!

Brattleboro Cheese Shop & Café is now serving BREAKFAST!

Come to 39 Main Street, across from the Latchis Theatre and Hotel, and have a real, homestyle breakfast!

We now serve breakfast TUESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY, 7am til 11am.

Delicious egg sandwiches and egg platters available to enjoy in the store or take with you.  We feature Vermont’s indigenous cheese — Plymouth Artisan cheese — on our breakfast sandwiches.  It’s similar to Cheddar but is smoother and melts beautifully.  And it was invented by Calvin Coolidge’s father!

On your breakfast sandwich you can choose from the following: eggs, bacon, ham, Plymouth cheese, fresh spinach, diced tomatoes, red onion, salsa, avocado, pickled onions, grilled onions, pickles, mayo, mustard, ketchup, and Sriracha hot sauce.

Our breakfast sandwiches are made from fresh eggs, cooked on the stove-top.  (Heck, we don’t even HAVE a microwave oven in the shop!)

We also make AWESOME home fries.  REAL fresh potatoes and diced onions, cooked and seasoned to perfection.

Hot or iced coffee from Mocha Joe’s, hot or iced tea from the Art of Tea, and the cutest staff in town!

Great food, reasonable prices.  We’d love to see you!

    Hooray for no microwaved food!

  • NOMS!

If you have not grabbed a grilled cheese with a pot of tea at this fabulous shop you really need to do so. Go somewhere with quality food and service! I also love to buy some of the yummy cheese and other noms they sell. Looking forward to having breakfast there sometime.

This is very welcome news! My mouth is watering, but alas; all I have right now is an apple and granola bar. What fab cheese do you recommend to top off a granola bar?

  • A Bright Spot

This is great news! Haven’t had a chance to try out breakfast yet but the grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch are fantastic! I am so happy Wendy was able to reopen this wonderful shop. To my mind, Brattleboro Cheese Shop and Cafe is a very bright spot in -what can sometimes be a dull downtown area.
It’s such a friendly, funky place -you feel good just walking in the door.
Let’s make sure she’s able to stay here…go buy some cheese! Go! Now!!
