They are giving away free food, drinks, & 99 cent car washes until 5:00 today. Owner Connie Burton says that small business costs are a factor. They are one of the most community-minded small businesses around! Get down there this afternoon and tell Connie and her employees how much you appreciate their business services and their service to the community!

Significant loss
This is a significant loss. They were conveniently located, fast with good prices. Their under-coating was critical to winter auto care. I hope there’s an alternative in town.
The alternative
Burton also owns the Car Wash on Putney Road. I don’t think that’s closing.

Burton’s will consolidate all their services to their Putney Road location near Brattleboro Bowl. I love Burton’s. It is a bit more expensive than the hyper-inexpensive gas station car washes – but it actually involves washing the car. See you on Putney Road.
