Andrea Livermore Resigns From Building a Better Brattleboro

A day of changes in Brattleboro.

Andrea Livermore has just announced that she will be resigning from Building a Better Brattleboro effective April 12, 2013. She says she may serve in a part time capacity through the fiscal year to provide for a smooth transition.

She says:

The Work Plan for FY 14, that was approved by the membership in January and funded via representative town meeting on this past Saturday, defines a model that will require active involvement by the whole downtown community.  The organization will need volunteer leaders and supporters in order that the activity that is proposed  can be accomplished.  I hope that all of you give some thought to becoming involved in the organization and this activity and suggesting that others do the same.  It’s only when the downtown is fully engaged that goals can be accomplished.

I want to thank all of you for your dedication, your hard work, your creativity and perseverance,  your help and support and your confidence and friendship.  Being part of the downtown community has been amazingly meaningful for me.   Thanks to all of you for that.
