The Brattleboro Selectboard is seeking candidates to fill a Selectboard vacancy created by the resignation of member Ken Schneck.
Persons interested in serving the remainder of this term (ending March 24, 2014) should send letters of interest to the Town Manager’s Office (Attn: Selectboard Vacancy, 230 Main Street, Suite 208, Brattleboro VT 05301).
Letters are due by 5:00pm June 13, 2013. The four remaining Board members will interview candidates on June 20 beginning at 5:00pm.
It is anticipated that the Board will fill the vacancy following the interviews.

Anyone Interested?
This is an opportunity to join the Selectboard without gathering signatures or campaigning – a fairly simple path if someone is interested in giving it a try.
If you have a good understanding of town departments and the budget process, you’ll probably get bonus points from those making the decision.
