5:30 pm, Brooks Memorial Library
I. Call to Order & Quorum Check: Tristan Toleno called the meeting to order. Committee members James Banslaben and Ann Wright were present. Terry Carter also attended.
II. Agenda Review: Discussion of committee structure (two vacancies) was added to the agenda.
III. Approval of Previous Meeting Notes: The June minutes were approved. (No meeting was held in July.)
IV. Public Participation: Terry Carter expressed concern that the citizen complaint form may not be being consistently offered.
V. New Business:
a. Committee make-up: The committee’s role in the community and whether the committee structure needs to be revisited by the Selectboard was discussed. Chief Wrinn and Lt. Fitzgerald took part in this discussion. It was agreed to continue this discussion next month.
b. It was suggested that the committee limit public participation to a set amount of time each month so that it may get through its entire agenda.
