Truck Breakdown On 91 Monday – Southbound Traffic Diverted

A truck has broken down on I-91 Southbound between Exits 2 and 3.  All southbound traffic is stopped.  State police are responding, and will get traffic flowing again asap.

    Coming thru

    Heavy traffic on Putney Rd into and through Brattleboro, too.

    Stopped up

    A friend called saying it’s taken her an hour to get from Bratt to Putney. Traffic has come to a halt. People were getting out of their cars. It’s a mess.

    Total standstill!

    We just tried to drive through downtown towards Staples, and traffic is at a standstill. Took an hour to basically go a few blocks, bail out, abort the mission, and return home via back roads.

    91 has re-opened. Things should begin to clear out.
