The Reformer is reporting that David Gartenstein was seriously injured in a bicycle accident on Sunday, June 8th. He is recovering at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. No other details.

Ouch
That’s bad news on many levels. He’s a big advocate for bike and pedestrian safety, too.
The story says he broke many bones in a bike crash on Holland Hill Road, and that Vice-Chair Kate O’Connor will be taking over while he recovers.

Sometimes the best way to communicate well wishes is with the old fashioned medium of a card. He is likely to be at Dartmouth at least long enough to get one if you send it today.
