Brattleboro Town Clerk’s Office Closing To Public

Good afternoon,

As a precaution, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Brattleboro Town Clerk’s Office will be closed to the public effective Wednesday morning, March 18 and until further notice. The Town Clerk’s Office staff will remain available to assist you by phone and email.

Town Clerk’s Office hours remain the same, Monday-Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.

To reach Brattleboro Town Clerk’s Office staff, call (802)251-8157, or email: jfletcher@brattleboro.org; clerkassist@brattleboro.org, or hfrancis@brattleboro.org.

You can access our land records online, dating back to 1945 here, and if you need to record a document, please mail it to us at 230 Main St. Suite 108, Brattleboro, VT 05301.

Most of our Town Clerk’s business can be done online, and the deadline to license dogs has been extended until further notice (meaning you will not receive a late fee if you license after April 1).

We encourage everyone to follow CDC and Department of Health hand-washing and social distancing recommendations.

Thank you for understanding that these are unusual times, requiring precautions for public safety and health.

Stay healthy,

Hilary
