In observance of the Christmas holiday:

Brattleboro Town offices will close at 12:00pm (noon) on Friday, December 22, 2023.

In observance of the Christmas holiday all Town Offices will be closed on Monday, December 25, 2023.

Brooks Memorial Library will be open on Friday, December 22 and Saturday, December 23, 2023. The Library will be closed on Monday, December 25.

Trash, recycling and composting will NOT be affected by the holiday. Collections will be picked up on the regular schedule.

In observance of the New Year holiday:

All Brattleboro Town offices will be closed on Monday, January 1, 2024 in observance of the New Year’s Holiday.

The Brooks Memorial Library will be closed on Monday, January 1, 2024.

Trash, recycling and composting WILL be affected by the holiday. Collections will be delayed by one day.

    Re Holiday trash/recycling/compost pickup

    I was surprised to see that pickups WILL be done on Christmas and WILL NOT be done on New Year’s Day, so called Town Mgr’s office to double check. It is true – something to do with our changing to Casella from Triple T. Anyway, in case anyone else is wondering, thought I’d pass it on.

      OOPS!

      I see now in separate post that Town has corrected the original post re pickups. In case you didn’t see it, we’re back to normal, and there will be NO PICKUPS on Christmas Day after all.
