Subject: July 4 Facility Closures and Parking Notice – Living Memorial Park

Brattleboro, VT — The Brattleboro Recreation & Parks Department would like to inform residents and visitors of temporary facility closures and traffic changes at Living Memorial Park on Saturday, July 4, 2026, in preparation for the evening’s festivities.
Beginning at 12:00 p.m., the Dog Park, Skatepark, and Kiwanis Shelter will be closed for the remainder of the day. The Pickleball Courts will remain open; however, there will be no parking available within Living Memorial Park after noon.
Parking & Traffic Updates:
- No parking will be permitted inside Living Memorial Park starting at 12:00 p.m.
- Guilford Street will become one-way beginning at approximately 4:00 p.m. This change may occur earlier depending on traffic conditions.
- Guilford Street will return to two-way traffic following the conclusion of the fireworks display.
Accessible Parking: Accessible parking will be available along Guilford Street near the left ballfield, with an additional 8–10 accessible spaces available at the Brattleboro Music Center.
Residents are encouraged to review the accessible parking map in advance.
