West Brattleboro Association Seeks Donations For New Signs

The West Brattleboro Association is raising funds to put up two “Welcome to West Brattleboro” signs, one at either end of the village. These will add to the village’s sense of pride and make the village even more inviting and attractive to both visitors and locals.

To do it right, this will cost about $3,000 per sign, or $6,000 total. To date the Association has raised around $1,400 toward this goal.

The WBA invites anyone interested in West Brattleboro — whether resident, business owner or just interested observer — to donate to this effort. Any amount will be most appreciated. These will be well constructed, multi-color signs. At least the first one will be based on a design from Keene Signworx, which constructed the North End Business Association sign at the Exit 3 rotary.

The purpose of the Association is to promote the thoughtful and effective evolution of the community of West Brattleboro as a place that is safe, healthy, attractive, and prosperous.
