The speed limit on Route 30 near the work zone has been reduced to 40 mph. This reduction will remain in effect through the Spring of 2016.

Project-related truck activity on Route 30 will continue. Route 30 will be reduced to a single lane intermittently both day and night, with flaggers regulating traffic within the work zone.

Upper Dummerston Road

The project will not affect traffic on Upper Dummerston Road the week of March 8th.

West River Trail

The West River Trail is now open. There are intersections between construction access and the trail path, and users should exercise extreme caution at these intersections. As an additional safety precaution, users of the West River Trail are reminded to keep pets on a leash in this area. Trail users should be aware that snow removal operations on I91 may cause snow to fall on the trail.

The northbound bridge over the West River has been removed. No project-related impacts to recreational boaters are anticipated for the week of March 8th.
