BMAC Invites Input On Environmental Cleanup Plan for 11 Arch Street, Brattleboro

Brattleboro Museum & Art Center has developed an environmental cleanup plan for the property located at 11 Arch Street in Brattleboro, Vermont. The cleanup activities are being performed in support of property redevelopment for museum operations.  It is anticipated that the environmental cleanup will be funded by the US Environmental Protection Agency’s Brownfields Cleanup program.

A public meeting to discuss the draft cleanup plan will be held on Monday, May 9, 2016 at 5:30 p.m. at the Brattleboro Museum & Art Center, 10 Vernon Street, Brattleboro, Vermont.

The cleanup plan, including the Analysis of Brownfields Cleanup Alternatives (ABCA)/Corrective Action Plan (CAP), is available for review at the Town of Brattleboro Town Clerk’s office, and can be viewed in person there during normal operating hours. The cleanup plan is also available electronically on request by calling (802) 917-2001.

Comments will be accepted on the ABCA/CAP from Monday, May 2, 2016 through Friday, June 3, 2016,
at the public meeting, via electronic mail to alan@leenv.net, via electronic mail to Michael.b.smith@vermont.gov and/or via US Mail to LE Environmental LLC, 21 North Main Street, Unit #1, Waterbury, Vermont, 05676. If submitting comments by US Mail, please leave enough time for normal post office delivery on or before Friday, June 3, 2016.
