Discussion of Neighborhood Center Zoning District and land uses in light of request from Bohler Engineering to amend Section 224.E.6 pertaining to the location of vehicular service bay doors.
6:45– 7:25 Historic Overlay District
Review of a comparison of the pathways and regulatory powers provided for in statute for historic preservation. Begin to consider the positives and negatives of each as applied to our existing historic areas.
7:25 – 7:35 CT River Dam Relicensing
Discuss the Town’s role in the dam relicensing process and the Planning Commission’s role in drafting comments that address mitigation of dam operation impacts, directing mitigation measures for the public benefit.
7:35 – 7:50 Grant Projects
Discussion of Better Connections Grant Project and potential appointment of Planning Commission representation on the Steering Committee. Update on status of FY24 Municipal Planning Grant application for a Windham Region Cultural Plan.
