That’s What I AM

After spending some time with the dictionary trying to find the terms that best describe me, progressive, radical, activist, I find that I do not wear any of these hats well. My mission is awareness, critical thinking, free speech and some personal ownership for the world we live in. In fact I founded a corporation in 2010 called The Awareness Initiative Inc., to do exactly that.

There is no question in my mind that the root cause of most of society’s problems is the hoarding of money and power by a tiny fraction of the wealthy elite. Hundreds of authors besides myself see liars in key positions of power in the legislative, executive and judiciary branches of government, in the military, with our increasing suppressive police force, with censorship on our college campuses and with just about every giant corporation on the planet especially Big Oil, Big Banks, those associated with the Military Industrial Complex and Big Media.

Yes I am passionate and concerned about the creeping corruption of corporate fascism and the propaganda being spewed by corporate media.

But, I am especially impassioned by FREE SPEECH.

A quiet but very implicit and very pervasive veil of Censorship and Secrecy has descended upon almost every college campus in America. This silent epidemic is killing critical thinking, associative learning, free speech and prospects for change that informed and enlightened students might initiate. Transformative learning is about experiencing knowledge and discerning fact from fiction. It is about analysis, discussion, debate and challenge. It is about thinking critically and speaking freely. Yet the biggest elephants in the room are often never discussed. Let’s start making some noise.

For 12 years Mainstream Media has been bludgeoning us with the same repeated message — now a conditioned Pavlovian response always occurs. The word “terrorism” is mentioned and like Pavlov’s drooling dogs, fear, security and blind trust in government and the police always take over. No questions are asked, no coincidences are explored.

Kent State still haunts me. Forty three years ago four students died and nine were wounded for exercising their rights to speak freely. I wonder who gave the command to fire 67 rounds in 13 seconds at unarmed protestors. If there was a draft now, these insane and never ending wars and military conflicts would end because the streets would be flooded with protestors. Instead the ignorant, the poor and the NationalGuard are put in harm’s way protecting the interests of a few fat cats, NOT the public.

It is my view that terrorism is this century’s Vietnam War. Yes there are terrorists and yes several of them are extremely dangerous, HOWEVER (outside of 9/11) the numbers related to American citizens dying from terrorist attacks are statistically as likely to occur as is death from a lightning strike. It is here that I will stick my stake in the ground. Here that I will make my stand … for even in a rigged court of law, FREE SPEECH is a hard one to beat.So I now appeal to the public summon the courage to allow awareness, critical thinking and free speech to flourish in your mind and hearts. Let us all make our voices heard.

So that’s what I am … a Civil Rights Activist and a Citizen Journalist

  • From Within and Without

Considering that the Trade Towers and other attacks were from both within and without, the deaths of the those people meant that they were essentially murdered by an internal black flag ops. This special attack operation certainly used the original much less ambitious plans to attack from without to enlarge their own designs to attack from within. This corporate led cabal of power really did the dirty work.
