Trucker’s Strike : Just-In-Time

For over 10 years I designed and sold Just-In-Time (JIT) inventory control systems. Payment for these systems was justified by reducing the carrying costs of inventory. JIT meant only having on hand (in the warehouse) what you needed to meet sales and nothing more. If you added shelf life to the equation it was further complicated. The best JIT inventory control systems were typically found at our giant grocery stores chains. Hurricane Katrina and other natural disasters clearly demonstrated the principles of JIT and just how vulnerable the public is to a disruption in the flow of goods. Usually 3 days was all it took to go from fully stocked grocery store shelves to empty. Guess who is the backbone of this distribution system?

So stock up America! This time the truckers are directing their energies towards the marionettes in Washington and their elite handlers. This time our truckers are exposing our totally corrupt governmental, judicial and media systems … Just-In-Time. They know just how bad it is. They know that bribery, threats, cover-ups and mass manipulation by media have become the foundational core of this democracy. Eventually the elite and their paid thugs will be held accountable and prosecuted for crimes committed against the constitution, our civil liberties and humanity.

Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld were convicted as war criminals by the War Crimes Tribunal in Malaysia last year. It is slow process, but it has begun. Many consider Obama and his cronies to be even more dangerous than the Bush Boys. What –with kill lists or death by Presidential decree not a jury, NSA wiretapping and Homeland Security gone wild, manufactured terrorists wars, the hypocrisy of austerity in the face of trillion dollar bank bailouts , trillion dollar off shore tax evasions, trillion dollar drug money laundering , trillion dollar libor interest scandals and trillions more in defense budgets and private contracts and yet even trillions more are put in the coffers of oil companies while the publics spends billion annually subsidizing this industry. The level of evil required to pull this off is only surpassed by the level of stupidity required by the public to continually let it happen.

I may not agree with all the trucker’s demands but I fully support their attempt to throw some light and direct some attention towards a system that is corrupt beyond belief. I hope their shut down is a wake-up call to all the hypocritical gas bags and the bottom feeders in Washington and Montpelier who profess to represent the people and not the money interests that elect them. We-The-People have been so dumbed down and so complacent for so long by a corporately owned and controlled media that black has become white and bottom has become up.

Trucker Group Citing Government ‘Corruption’ Calls To ‘Shut Down America’ With 3-Day Strike Oct 11-13 : Huffington Post Oct 6 2013

“Truck drivers will not haul freight! Workers will call in sick! Consumers will not buy or sell anything on this date! Stay home! Buy nothing!”

  • Organizer is A great example of dumbed down

Here’s an example of the kind of “light these people planned on throwing towards a corrupt system”.

This link leads you to a post explaining that one of the main organizers of this event believes that Obama IS Osama bin Laden. If this was a main organizer it’s no wonder this event was a big fizzle. One thing you’re right about, we the people apparently have become very very dumbed down judging from this group.

    • Conlon Big American Hero Get his 5 Minutes and Books

And take a note that the fellow in the video, Earl Conlon, gave a bunch of interviews claiming to be the an organizer, then had to backtrack and say that he wasn’t actually that involved, then he basically booked it. He said he wasn’t even going to show up for the big demonstration. Guess he ran out of gas. All hat, no truck.

  • Phony trucker's strike

I’ve enjoyed all the photos on social media of a trucker’s strike in Italy that have been passed off as photos of the nonexistent trucker’s strike in Washington.

    • Truckiness

I thought for sure I saw news of them dumping manure at the gates of EuroDisney near Reston.

A trucker’s strike like the one that didn’t happen would be quite an event if it ever did happen. It certainly has the blockbuster movie appeal of rebels taking to the roads in their rigs, swirling around like sharks until our great nation is restored.

It’s a bit like Colbert’s truthiness. Truckiness, perhaps. What we’d like to imagine truckers doing.

This event didn’t have the organizational skills to pull it off, and I’m sure many truckers wanted to just get paid for working the weekend. It could be a risk to take your corporation’s rig to a political event where it will be photographed and license-plate scanned, especially if your company isn’t endorsing the action.

If it were a union action against truck companies, it might happen, but to have a protest against the government – doubtful.
