    NYC Night court

    Night court has always been a hoot! Funniest has traditionally been motorists pleading “Guilty with an explanation” (permitted by the rules).
    They try to tell why whatever they did to get them there was justified in order to garner leniency.
    Example:
    A man charged with speeding explains that he just consumed three Martinis and wanted to get home before they took effect.
