But how often do adults make this remark in board rooms and business meetings? Have you ever been in a situation where “everyone does it” was the justification for questionable conduct, and if so how did you respond?

I have been growing Knockout roses with good success. The are hybrids, developed for hardiness so that even a bumbling gardener like me can’t harm them.

Last year someone gave me a fancy rose bush — I think it is called a Tiffany. It produced beautiful roses, but only about 2 of them. This year, the leaves are turning yellow, and the plant looks sick.

I heard there was a terrible accident on Western Avenue on Thursday. Anybody know anything? Our paper didn’t cover the scene for today’s edition.

Short notice but I am looking for a place locally to have a romantic evening/afternoon tomorrow with my husband as we have a sitter! Some daydreams included a bottle of wine/champagne and a room with a Jacuzzi. Are there any places that people know of where we might escape to tomorrow?

Does anybody know what’s going on at the pizza place on Canal Street? It seems like renovations have been going on for quite a while and now there’s a sign up that says Georgios.

This year in the Heifer Parade, my wife Cynthia was a scatophagid fly, stopping at each cow pile, and I was a naturalist with my entomologist net. We know many people took photos, but wonder if anyone who snapped a shot of us might post one here, so we could see it.

Does anybody know what happened to the food stand that was at the exit 1 outlet center? Is it located somewhere else?

Does anyone know of any local creative writing workshops? I’ve checked Write Action and Brattleboro Literary Arts but can’t seem to find anything except Suzanne Kingsbury. I’m interested in flash fiction, short prose and the occasional prose poem, but not poetry-poetry. Any ideas?

Wednesday Farmers Market?

Where are the bike racks in Brattleboro? 

I recenty moved to town and even more recently got my bike/helmet in shape.  Now all I need to do is venture out.  I love the idea of biking as alternate transportation, particularly when there are errands to run or events to go to.  What does a Brattleboroan bicyclist need to know?

With , what will happen to the…greenhouse thingy…that was built at the dump on Old Ferry Road?  Are there plans to seek a use for it that will honor the original intent as best as possible?  I am very curious about this.  Hope someone is working on it.  Anyone here know anything about it?

Does anybody know what happened this afternoon around 3:15pm? I drove past two fire trucks, six police cars, rescue,… I saw a guy in a yellow and black dive suit~ all at the mouth of The Meadows on Route 30.

Can anyone comment on what they beleive to be the best choice(s) for a PC destop?  

Are there differences between brands, and what would make one a better choice than another.

Did anyone else have to swerve to avoid a tire or similar-looking object lying in Putney Road between Eaton Ave & Vermont Ave around 8pm last night (Monday 4/22)?  We sacrificed a mirror to one of those telephone poles right next to the southbound lane (he ones all scarrd up from being hit by other vehicles, plow blades, etc).  Nothing seen in daylight this morning except mirror fragments by the pole.
