She will also repeat her talk at 7 PM. Kerr, a Certified Alzheimer’s Educator, is also author of  “I Love You…Who Are You?”, Loving and Caring for a Parent with Alzheimer’s”.

She will discuss Alzheimer’s, her family’s journey with the disease, and how to care for a loved one with Alzheimer’s. She will also provide information and hands-on tips for everyone regarding the disease.

“With someone in the United States being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s every 67 seconds, there’s an increasing chance we will all know someone with the disease in our lifetime. My goal is to raise awareness and also educate others about how to act, react and interact with someone with Alzheimer’s”, said Kerr, a native of New Jersey. Kerr’s book will be available for purchase at the event.
