The Brattleboro Solar Summer campaign will kick off this Saturday, May 2 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm in the Brooks House lobby, corner of Main and High Streets in downtown Brattleboro.

    And just today Tesla announces a new home battery for solar or wind power. About $3500, they say, and it is describes as the missing piece for sustainable energy use.

    Stores up to 10 kWh. The units can be hint on a garage wall, and up to 8 can be combined. Using one would mean energy could be stored for when sunlight or wind is low.

    They are also making a 100kWh battery for utilities.
