Board Candidate Forum: As part of their commitment to community, The Commons and The Reformer will jointly host a Windham Southeast School Board Candidate Forum, Wednesday, February 16th, 6:30-8pm via Zoom. Information shared by the event hosts:

The Windham Southeast School District includes all public schools within Guilford, Brattleboro, Dummerston and Putney. Each candidate will be allowed 5 minutes to introduce themselves and why they are running for the WSESD Board. The public will submit questions via chat to the moderator. The forum is an opportunity for candidates to introduce themselves and why they are running for office in a respectful environment. This is not a debate. BCTV, Brattleboro Community Television, will be taping and will play on cable and post the video online for sharing.

Reports and budget materials will be available at the Brattleboro, Dummerston, Guilford, and Putney Town offices and the WSESU Central Office at 53 Green Street, Brattleboro on February 18. These materials, as well as the school district’s audit, warning articles and sample ballot are posted on the school district’s website. An Independent Budget Review Committee report will also be available and posted for public review.
