Minutes of June 16, 2022
Meeting via Zoom and in person at Central Office
Members Present: Anne Beekman, Kerry Amidon, Shaun Murphy, Liz Adams, Kelly Young
Also Present: Barb Nowakowski, David Schoales, Tamara Evanson (Brattleboro)


CALL TO ORDER: 5:00 PM – Anne Beekman
On a motion by Kerry Amidon and seconded by Liz Adams, the committee voted to accept the Administration’s recommendation to hire: Cassie Damkoehler – BUHS Assistant Principal (from Dean of Students) and Samantha Stine – BUHS Academic Support (Math)

On a motion by Kerry Amidon and seconded by Shaun Murphy, the committee voted to accept with regret the resignations of Rebecca Olmstead – BUHS Nurse (Taking the WSESU School Nurse Leader position) and Carolyn Zuaro – Putney Art.

On a motion by Kerry Amidon and seconded by Liz Adams, the committee voted to approve a leave of absence for Ellen Rago – Dummerston – 7/8 Humanities

On a motion by Kerry Amidon and seconded by Liz Adams, the committee voted to approve the 1% applications (two) for Dummerston.

Members should hold next Thursday, June 23rd for our next meeting date. The committee adjourned at 5:07 PM on a motion by Kerry Amidon and seconded by Liz Adams.

Minutes of June 9, 2022
Meeting via Zoom and in person at Central Office
Members Present: Anne Beekman, Kerry Amidon, Shaun Murphy
Also Present: Stacey Mousseau

CALL TO ORDER: 5:00 PM – Anne Beekman

On a motion by Shaun Murphy and seconded by Kerry Amidon, the committee approved the minutes of June 2.
On a motion by Kerry Amidon and seconded by Shaun Murphy, the committee voted to accept the Administration’s recommendation to hire: Anna Williams (Kindergarten Dummerson) and Kate Margaitis (Principal Green Street School).
On a motion by Kerry Amidon and seconded by Shaun Murphy, the committee voted to accept with regret the resignations of Brin Tucker (remaining in the district) and Caitlin Campbell.
On a motion by Kerry Amidon and seconded by Shaun Murphy, the committee voted to approve an unpaid leave of absence for Stacey Frazer.
On a motion by Kerry Amidon and seconded by Shaun Murphy, the committee voted to approve the 1% application for the BUHS Social worker to run a summer program to re- engage with students and families.
Members should hold next Thursday, June 16th for our next meeting date. The committee adjourned at 5:04 PM on a motion by Kerry Amidon and seconded by Shaun Murphy.
