    Open Meeting Violation?

    I just sent the following message to Brattleboro’s Assistant Town Manager:

    Hello, Patrick.
    I wish to send an email to the town manager to inquire as to whether a recent meeting warning and agenda for the Windham Southeastern School District violates the Open Meeting Law. It would be appropriate to CC the town attorney, but brattleboro.org either does not give the identity of the Town Attorney, or else it is difficult to find.

    Is Robert Fisher still the town attorney, and can you send me his email address?

    Also, do you have an email address for the current Secretary of State? The Secretary of State website only allows contact with the secretary via an online submission form, which makes it impossible to copy her on the email that I am preparing. (Secretary Condos and Secretary Markowitz where alway available via direct email.).

    Also, I need an email for the Chair of the School District, as it makes little sense not to include her.

    PS It is starting to look like access to our public servants is becoming increasingly remote. Too bad for Vermont if that is now the trend.
