April 7, 2025
Meeting Minutes
Attendees: Jessica Everlith (JE), Ruby McAdoo(RM), Michelle Green (MG), Matt Schibley (MS)
The meeting was called to order at 10:01am.
The agenda was amended to discuss recent events with directives given by VT Agency of Education, Zoie Saunders regarding a Trump Administration Executive Order. There was much energy and activation in our community regarding the directives. More to come as it is a developing situation.
MG gave an overview of the history and structure of the Communications Council.
Attendees discussed ideas on how to increase awareness and engagement.
Discussion around the board’s involvement in the Rural Schools Community Alliance (RSCA).
Council to recommend board approve a press release highlighting the decisions involving RSCA.
JE to bring to the board at next schedule meeting (4/8)
Meeting adjourned at 11:12am.
