Weekend Comedy Series: Richard Pryor

Richard Pryor, live in concert from 1979 at the Terrace Theater in Long Beach, California.

Remember Richard Pryor? He grew up in a brothel, was expelled from school, worked the comedy clubs, and ended up one of the most successful comedy writers and stars of the 70’s and 80’s. Go figure.

He also did movies, such as Lady Sings The Blues, Silver Streak, Stir Crazy, Brewster’s Millions, and The Toy, and co-wrote Blazing Saddles.

He died in 2005 after a long bout with MS.

Lots of vulgarities profanity, innuendo, and racila epithets follow. It’s dated, and historical. Please be old and mature enough to watch, otherwise do something else.
