Beginning a yoga practice can be intimidating and overwhelming. If you are interested in yoga but are unsure what to do when you walk in the door of a yoga studio, or how to do the poses, or why the poses are done in the first place, this series is for you.
This class is for complete beginners and those wanting to revisit the basics.
All portions of this class will be taught slowly, clearly and in an interactive environment where questions and discussion are encouraged.
In this six-week program, you will:
-Learn basic yoga poses
-Learn breathing and relaxation techniques
-Learn the health benefits of yoga, both physical and mental
-Develop an understanding of what yoga is to you
-Understand how you can integrate what you learn in class into your everyday life
By the end of the series you will feel confident and empowered to practice basic yoga on your own or attend classes at a yoga studio.
$120, includes Beginner Yoga Handbook & use of yoga mat and props
