Aaron Shams Helminski, MD, Joins BMH Hospitalist Staff

Brattleboro Memorial Hospital announced Aaron Shams Helminski, MD, has joined its Department of Hospitalist Medicine.

Dr. Helminski attended University of Vermont in Burlington for both his pre-med and doctoral programs. He completed an internship in internal medicine at University of Hawaii in 2011 and returned to UVM/Fletcher Allen to complete his residency in 2013, where he was chief resident. He resides in Putney.

The BMH Hospitalist staff is a team of physicians specializing in internal medicine who provide immediate care to patients experiencing acute medical conditions when they are admitted to the hospital. The other hospitalists are Kathleen McGraw, MD and BMH Chief Medical Officer, Aida Avdic, MD, Hospitalist Program Director, Amy Gadowski, MD, Christopher Meyer, MD, and Sean Amos, MD.
