Brattleboro and VT COVID-19 Regional Dashboard Summary – August 2022

It is time for the August 2022 dashboard summary. We continue semi-regular COVID-19 dashboard numbers from the Vermont Department of Health, and MA and NH counties that surround Brattleboro, as long as they continue providing them.  Scroll down the new comments for the latest.

Vermont and MA have very limited looks at what are going on these days, with weekly snapshots. NH attempt daily updates but doesn’t always give new totals. We try…. : )

Here are links to the full list of dashboard summaries: July,  June,  May,  April,  March,  February,  January 2022,  December,  NovemberOctober,  September, AugustJulyJuneMayAprilMarchFebruaryJanuary 2021, December,  November,  OctoberSeptemberAugustJuly,  JuneMay, and April 2020.  28 months!

(Sources: Broad; Aegis; Helix; LabCorp; Quest; Health Department Whole Genome Sequencing program; CDC COVID Data Tracker)
    • *The Health Department updated its definition of up to date to align with the CDC: people who have received all recommended doses of vaccine they are eligible for. Up to date numbers now reflect Vermonters age fifty and older who have received a second booster and those age five to eleven who have received a booster
    • Zero outbreaks in Windham County on Aug 31, 2022

    This concludes August 2022 semi-regular COVID-19 updates.

Anecdotally, hardly anyone is wearing a mask anymore, it’s not much of a topic of discussion, and everyone is sort of acting as if it isn’t out there anymore. But people are still catching it…
