Flat Street Runs Dry?

I have heard tell that Flat Street Pub is closing and am sorry to face that prospect. Any other reports?

    Crafty Cauldron

    Crafty Cauldron is also moving out. Sign says they are going to MA.

    Despite all this, it seems we have more filled up storefronts that we’ve had in many years.

      According to a high-ranking member of the BPD

      in a private conversation, the LEO off-handedly mentioned that launching and sustaining a bar in this town is not easy.

      That said, some of the worst service I’ve gotten in my nine years in this town came out of the Flat Street Pub–and that’s seriously saying something–so I can’t say I’m sorry to see the management get out of Dodge.

      The space is perfect for a pub/restaurant, a serious upgrade in the bartender/waitstaff/kitchen and wise use of what was once a drop-dead gorgeous space in the basement would be most welcome. That space can’t possibly remain empty for a year.
