Utilities crews are on the scene of a water main break on Linden ST near the intersection with Upper Dummerston Road. Staff is assessing the situation and will provide updates as soon as possible. Water pressure throughout the system has been affected. Linden ST/Route 30 is closed to all traffic between Cedar Street and Upper Dummerston Road. Traffic should seek alternate routes.
We apologize again for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience while we work to fix the problem.

“Utilities crews are on the scene of a water main break on Linden ST near the intersection Cedar Street. Staff on the scene have isolated the leak. The water service to customers on Linden Street has been shut off while the repairs are being made. Other water customers may experience a short period of discolored water. Running the cold water for a few minutes should clear the lines if this happens.
The area has been opened to one lane alternating traffic with flaggers.
