Wealth

According to Bernie Sanders, (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ao7iC9b5Mk0)

Three people in America today own more wealth than the bottom HALF of the American people.

(Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos and Warren Buffet)

What do they need so much wealth for?

They can’t live long enough to spend it all.

“What do they need so much wealth for?”

One of them needs it to remain the richest person in the US. The other two need it as they try to become the richest person in the US. and prevent others below them from becoming #2 and #3.

I hear hoarding is a problem for some people. So sad. : )

    • just a little research

on Warren Buffet and you will find he plans on donating much of his wealth to charity.

As for the Gates family, they have a foundation that is dedicated to helping the poor and eradicate polio.

look it up and see the good works they are doing.

      • But Bezos...

The research I have shows they still have most of that money. But yes, some good deeds at the end of their miserly lives might get the in good at the day of reckoning. : )

Bezos, though. Ick. BTW, he made $2.4 Billion on Friday via sales at Amazon. The article I read said “Some people may question whether it’s a good thing for society that one individual and his holdings now control such a massive swathe of the American economy.” Yes. Some people question…

        • i just watch the video

that was sighted on Youtube of Bernie Sanders. If you look closely, there is a link under the video description that has a link to Amazon for a free trial for Amazon prime and another link that takes you directly to the Amazon page with Senaor Sanders book.

I couldn’t find anything on the internet regarding your assertion about the 2,.4 billion, I don’t understand if you are talking about Amazon sales for that day or Bezos fortune growing as a result of it.

  • Debt

Is the red dot on the map supposed to indicate debt? I hope so because some percentage at the bottom–I’m not sure exactly what percent–wouldn’t own anything. They actually OWE “land.” Debt is a HUGE problem for those at the bottom of the economic pyramid: student debt, medical debt, underwater mortgage debt, and debt people incur just to keep food on the table, a roof over their family’s heads, and enough heat to get through the winter.
