If GMO Food Labeling Laws Don’t Pass in Vermont, then Guess What We Can Do?

GMO foods? Why not mix wine grapes and marijuana, or beer hops and marijuana?

Have fun with genetically engineered and genetically modified foods and cross- breeding? Would it be legal now in Colorado and Washington?

I was thinking today about genetically modified and genetically engineered foods, and the lack of labeling, so far.

I was thinking that if foods are NOT labelled, then the marijuana legalization movement in Colorado and Washington, where you can now grow your own, can make a quantum leap forward.

How’s that?

O.K., enter my devious mind, calculating
and clever.

Let’s say, for example, that the Vermont
State Legislature fails to make marijuana
legal this Spring?

Now, if you lived in Washington or Colorado,
how could you best help out your fine
feathered marijuana loving friends in Vermont?

Genetically engineered foods, genetically
modified foods:  simply cross-breed and
mix marijuana with mint tea leaves; or
 create a cross-breed strain of
broccoli mixed with marijuana; how about
strawberries cross-bread mixed with marijuana?
Do you see what I’m getting at?
Genetically modified and genetically
engineered brand spanking new strains
of foods that are cross breeds of
fruits and vegetables and marijuana.
It’s been done for ages with fruits.

  Yep, that’s the answer.

Or is it Bio-Terrorism?

If it is Bio-Terrorism to make
new strains of vegetables and fruits
cross-bred with marijuana so every
bite is super delicious and more
exciting to your enhanced and happy
taste buds than ever before,
then,
is it Bio-Terrorism to NOT
label all fruits and vegetables
right now, immediately,
to let us know if they are “natural”
or genetically modified or
genetically engineered?

How many Wineries in Washington State
and Colorado are already working
on bio-engineering and genetically
modifying grapes cross-bred with
marijuana?  How could you tell
if you were drinking wine that was
made from genetically modified
and genetically engineered grapes?

How about your Beer Hops?
Has your Beer got you hopping
more than ever lately?
