Crazy, Loony, Kooky

A lot of really crazy, loony, kooky individuals have a hard time accepting the official government explanation of the events of 9/11. (I count myself among them). We are called “Conspiracy Theorists” and that’s supposed to be the end of it.

Works pretty well!

But many sane, intelligent patriotic Americans have no trouble accepting the government’s theory that a group of young disaffected Arab men conspired with a disaffected scion of a wealthy Arab family, suffering from kidney disease and living in an elaborate cave in Afghanistan, to defy the nation’s defense systems and allow 4 hijacked airliners to dance around our skies for a few hours until they managed to crash 3 of them into iconic structures, killing thousands.

Well, that’s a “Conspiracy Theory”, too!

I have no theory.

I don’t pretend to know who is responsible. It’s likely that some or even all of the Arab conspirators did it, but I believe they couldn’t have pulled it off without some world-class assistance. Who provided that assistance?

Our government knows the truth, but they continue to toss about red herrings.

They even got us into two wars of “vengeance” – for what, really? (Oil, maybe? Or just the profits of war?)

That’s why we need a new and neutral investigation.

The official investigation by a blue ribbon panel known as the 9/11 Commission (The National Commission on
Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States) has been publicly criticized by the co-chairs, Thomas Kean – Republican, former Governor of New Jersey and Lee H. Hamilton – Democrat, former U.S. Representative from the 9th District of Indiana. The commission issued its final report on July 22, 2004.

(Co-chairs Kean and Hamilton wrote a book about the constraints they faced as commissioners titled “Without Precedent: The Inside Story of the 9/11 Commission”)

BTW, Henry Kissinger was first chosen to chair the commission until public outcry made him step down.

Besides the lot of really crazy, loony, kooky individuals, many well-known and respected senior U.S. military officers, intelligence services and law enforcement veterans, and government officials have expressed significant
criticism of the 9/11 Commission Report or have made public statements that contradict the Report.

Their collective voices give credibility to the claim that the 9/11 Commission Report is tragically flawed. These individuals cannot be simply dismissed as irresponsible believers in some 9/11 conspiracy theory. Their sincere concern, backed by their decades of service to their country, demonstrate that criticism of the Report is not irresponsible, illogical, nor disloyal, per se. In fact, it can be just the opposite.
