Has anybody noticed the decline of this once great station?
For years, I’ve enjoyed its Progressive Talk format.
I still enjoy Live & Local in the morning, and Thom Hartmann in the afternoon, but the evening and weekend programming has hit the bottom. When the Red Sox are not playing, all they seem to offer is Dead Air.
They still give us some of the syndicated shows, but only parts of them.
For instance, tonight at 9, I started listening to Leo Laporte’s excellent Tech Guy show. I heard it for 15 minutes, then nothing.
CBS News with Harley Carnes came on 15 minutes later for about a minute, and then more dead air.
This Morning, I was listening to The Car Doctor. Then, for a while, I heard the news, a commercial and Ron Ananian all at the same time. Then nothing.
Doesn’t anybody at the station or any of their advertisers even listen?
Does anybody care?
