VT Digger Excludes Independents From Debate; Candidate Offers To Donate Salary

WHAT IS THE DEFINITION OF ELECTION FRAUD?

It happens many different ways in Vermont!

VtDigger.org is an online news source in Vermont which claims to be a non-profit and may receive funding from the State of Vermont. They are holding a series of political candidate debates which ONLY INCLUDE the Democrats and Republicans and exclude all others.

VTDigger launches general election debates with US Senate event in Manchester on Sept. 8

I am an Independent candidate for U.S. Senator and I have been excluded. My name is Cris Ericson and I am on the ballot for U.S. Senator as an Independent candidate. http://crisericson.com

I believe that VtDigger.org has NO RIGHT TO CLAIM IT IS A NON-PROFIT because it is acting as a Political Action Committee promoting major party candidates while discouraging voters from voting for any other candidates. They are doing this seriously, and willfully and intentionally in CONSPIRACY with a lobbying group, The Necrason Group, which is a lobbying firm. I allege this is an unreported “in-kind” campaign contribution to the Democrat and Republican candidates and that an unreported contribution is allegedly illegal under federal law; and I allege that vtdigger.org is fraudulently claiming to be a non-profit while in reality they function as a political action committee. They have been covering major party candidates for months now, while excluding any coverage of others. They have done this for years and it is time to put a stop to their fraudulent claim of being a “non-profit”, in my personal opinion.

My next complaint is about another independent candidate for United States Senator, Kerry Raheb, who states twice on his political campaign website that if he is elected he will donate 90% of his salary to Vermonters.

Title 18 U.S.C. §597. Expenditures to influence voting
Whoever makes or offers to make an expenditure to any person, either to vote or withhold his vote, or to vote for or against any candidate; and Whoever solicits, accepts, or receives any such expenditure in consideration of his vote or the withholding of his vote— Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both; and if the violation was willful, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both. illegal because it might fall under Title 18 United States Code for paying for votes.

Independent candidate for U.S. Senator Kerry Raheb appears to claim on his campaign website that he will give 90% of his salary to Vermonters if he is elected.

Is that an act of paying for votes, even if he wouldn’t be paying until after the election, under Title 18 United States Code §597?
