Why Hasn’t VT Congressional Delegation Saved all of our Hospitals in Vermont?

Why hasn’t our Vermont Congressional Delegation, U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders, U.S. Senator Peter Welch, and U.S. Congressperson Becca Balint taken action to save all of our Hospitals in Vermont?

Why haven’t they?

Why hasn’t our Vermont Congressional Delegation brought more money to Vermont for hospitals and health care programs and other programs like housing?  Clearly, $100 million is not enough, and that’s  what recent news claims they have brought in for the entire state.  Becca Balint tags along with whatever pork Peter Welch and Bernie Sanders generate, but is reliant on them. The reason more money has not been brought into Vemront is that Senator Bernie Sanders and Senator Peter Welch and Congressperson Becca Balint have not worked to repeal the Bayh-Dole Act of 1980, which if repealed, or even amended, could bring a fortune of federal dollars to Vermont.  Let’s talk about how that can be done!

FIrst of all, recent news stories have also disclosed that when any member of our Vermont Congressional Delegation says they do not take money from Corporations, that is a tall tale.  The corporations give money to non-profits, trade associations and political action committees, and then the money goes from there to the political campaign accounts of our innocent elected officials, hands clean but spirits and resolves tainted.

Pharmaceutical corporations give money to both Democrats and Repubican candidates, they are like ticks digging in to the souls of candidates and elected officials to  ensure that corporation profits come first before your needs do; and to make certain that no elected official breathes a word about repealing the Bayh-Dole Act of 1980.

The Bayh-Dole Act of 1980 allows universities, small businesses,
and non-profits to keep U.S. Patent rights on inventions made with federal funding
(your hard earned tax dollars). Besides research for healthcare, prescription drugs and
medical devices,  the Bayh-Dole Act provides for defense and
military research by letting private defense contractors own and commercialize
technology, new jets, missiles, and drones which are sold world wide internationally to
our Allies, built with public tax money  which in fact is your hard earned Vermont tax dollars
taken out of your paycheck and sent to the I.R.S.
Pharmaceutical corporations, lead researchers and defense contractors
and university labs retain the  intellectual property rights, the U.S. Patents,
for U.S. military inventions and medical devices and prescription drugs

developed under federal grants,
instead of the government owning it. The Pharmaceutical and Defense corporations sell
the new products worldwide, internationally and make Billions $$$ of dollars in profits,
but they don’t give you any, even though they made their profits using your hard
earned tax dollars.   They used you to get rich, while you struggle more for having
federal taxes  deducted from your paycheck.  They used you. That’s the problem, under the previous
U.S. Patent Law, before 1980, the law was “work made for hire” so whoever
was paying for the R&D, the research, design and development, was the
owner of the U.S. Patents.  Owning the U.S. Patents means you can sell
the newly invented prescription drugs, medical devices or bombs, guns and
drones and military weapons.  If  “we, the people”, the government, owned
the U.S. Patents, we would have huge profits from world wide international
sales of all of the new products deposited into the U.S. Treasury, where it

could then be voted on by the U.S. Congress to send to States like Vermont.

Because the Bayh-Dole Act of 1980 gave
away our rights to the U.S. Patents, “we, the people” are left to “negotiate”
drug prices on maybe 10 drugs a year, while there are thousands of Rx
prescription drugs people need and for which prices stay high.   When our
Congressional Delegation claims to have “negotiated prices” they are pulling
a scam by not telling you that you should have ownership rights in all of the
Rx drugs and U.S. Patents made with taxpayer money that came right out of
your paycheck. Our Vermont Congressional Delegation is committing fraudulent
concealment of material facts.  They know perfectly well that this is why the rich
are getting richer and hard working people are struggling more.  Your hard earned
tax dollars are taken from you and send to the I.R.S. and then the U.S. Congress
votes to give your money to the N.I.H., National Institute of Health, and the Pentagon
for research, design and development of new inventions, both pharmaceutical
and military.  The lead researcher, under the Bayh-Dole Act of 1980 is allowed
to own the U.S. Patents, that before 1980, under work made for hire laws,
we-the-people, the government, owned.   The lead researchers makes contract
deals with the corporations.  The defense contractors and pharmaceutical corporations
and the lead researchers all get rich.  They use their profits to buy shares of stock
on the stock market and real estate.  The more they buy, the more they own, the
more they profit from dividends and rent from buying up homes,  then they
invest more, like a cancer, getting richer and richer.

All you have to do is stop the flow of your money going to the rich.  Memorize this:
(1) Your federal tax dollars are sent to the I.R.S.
(2) The U.S. Congress votes to give your money to the N.I.H. and Pentagon
(3) The National Institute of Health and the Pentagon hand out your money
to researchers who invent products.
(4) Under the Bayh-Dole Act of 1980 the lead researcher owns the
U.S. Patent rights to those products,
make deals with corporations to produce the products and sell them worldwide.
(5) they keep all the profits and give you none.
(6) You are struggling more and more because that money was deducted out
of your paycheck,  to give to someone else to use to make profits, and
you got not share of the profits.
(7) Our Vermont Congresssional Delegation is perfectly aware that this is
how the rich get richer while we-the-people struggle more, but their souls
have been bought and sold with political campaign donations re-routed from
the corporations to the non-profits and political action committees, and then
to them.
(8) You have a choice, you can write-in Cris Ericson for Representative to Congress
on the Progressive party primary election ballot, where there is a blank space and
they have no candidate listed.  Cris Ericson is the one person in Vermont
who will propose a Bill to repeal the Bayh-Dole Act of 1980 and restore our
rights to owning U.S. Patents so we can earn our fair share of profits and
provide a lot more money to Vermont and other States for healthcare and housing, etc.

  • FUN WITH ELECTIONS IN VERMONT, EPISDODE 2026 PRIMARY!

In a previous episode of fun with elections in Vermont,
there was some controversy about Becca Balint receiving donations of
some sort from FTX, and then the founder of FTX went to prison,
and Becca Balint donated one of the campaign contributions
she had received to a non-profit, which is a funny way of
    washing the money “cleaner”.
    So, we wondered, why FTX?
FTX was a major global cryptocurrency exchange founded in 2019 by Sam Bankman-Fried (now, still in prison).
    So, why?
Apparently Becca Balint was a main promoter of abortion up to the
moment of birth, which became legal in Vermont, but not in other states,
and so abortion clinics in other states MIGHT, maybe, be using
    cryptocurrency to conceal their transactions.
Furthermore, some people think the term “abortion up to the moment
of birth” is a fraudulent idea in commerce (in commerce because
money is paid for the procedure) because
there was a video, apparently on the University of Vermont medical
website or whatever, that showed the actual procedure,
and it was not what many people think abortion is.
It actually looked, quite clearly, like execution by lethal injection.
The baby is alive and moving in the mother’s womb,
and a long needle is inserted into the womb,
and the chemicals injected into the womb
kill the baby. That, folks, is a lethal injection execution.
Apparently most Democrats in Vermont can stomach this.
So, the Democrats won, Becca Balint got elected for
her sterling performance in promoting abortion up to
the moment of birth, and the guy who paid almost
a million dollars to promote Becca Balint, now sits
    in prison.

So, now into the August 11, 2026 election!
Becca Balint will win the Democrat primary because
there is no candidate running against her.

Becca Balint has made a “performance” (Hollywood
needs this person!) of parading around complaining
    about ELON MUSK.

Oh? Really? But what goes on behind the scenes with
    Becca Balint and ELON MUSK?

I’ll just do a little cut and paste and you can see that
Becca Balint is not so hands-washed-clean as you’d
want a political candidate’s hands to be before you
    shake them!

    Google search:

“Elon Musk’s SpaceX corporate political action committee (PAC) donated money to Democratic Representative Becca Balint’s leadership PAC. While Elon Musk himself heavily funds conservative groups like America PAC to support Republican candidates, public financial records reveal a more complicated picture regarding corporate contributions to Balint.” …
“The Contributor: The political action committee tied to SpaceX, a company founded and led by Elon Musk. The Recipient: Representative Becca Balint’s leadership PAC.” (VTdigger)

So what? The problem is that Becca Balint has not sponsored a Bill to repeal or amend the Bayh-Dole Act which funds some of ELON MUSK’s enterprises with SUBSIDIES, which are our hard earned tax dollars. Taxes are deducted from your paycheck and sent to the I.R.S. and then the U.S. Congress votes to give BILLIONS and BILLIONS of your hard earned tax dollars to corporations as “SUBSIDIES”.

    Google search:
“Companies owned by Elon Musk—primarily Tesla and SpaceX—have received at least $38 billion in combined government contracts, loans, tax credits, and subsidies over the past two decades. This public funding played a crucial role in the early survival and rapid scaling of his business empire” (The Washington Post).

NOW, THINK ABOUT THIS BEFORE YOU VOTE ON AUGUST 11, 2026!
    (1) We have fewer school children in Vermont because so many lives in the womb were lost to abortion. Say, Thank you Becca Balint!
    (2) We are being ripped off of our hard earned tax dollars because we SHOULD be receiving a share of profits made with our hard earned tax dollars.
IF WE WERE receiving a share of profits from our hard earned tax dollars,
such as those paid out to Elon Musk’s businesses as “SUBSIDIES”, then we would have MORE FUNDS FOR HEALTH CARE AND HOSPITALS IN VERMONT.
And we need our share of Elon Musk’s profits made with our hard earned tax dollars to provide for pregnant women and girls so they are not convinced by anyone that the abortion chambers are where they belong.

Please, please, please take the Progressive party ballot on August 11, 2026 and WRITE-IN CRIS ERICSON for Representative to Congress. There is NO candidate listed for that office on the Progressive party ballot.
To make positive constructive change in Vermont, we have to repeal or amend bad laws like the Bayh-Dole Act of 1980 which has created a system of corruption that makes the rich people even wealthier while the rest of us struggle. STOP CORPORATE SUBSIDIES (our hard earned tax dollars given away to corporations) UNLESS WE GET A SHARE OF THEIR PROFITS.

This message is brought to you from my heart.
