Is Congressperson Becca Balint a Hypocrite? Or just not paying attention?  I want U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders and U.S. Senator Peter Welch and President Donald Trump and Elon Musk and U.S. Congressperson Becca Balint to PAY ATTENTION RIGHT NOW!

Let’s take a look at this political issue of hypocrisy!

Now, what does SpaceX do? They launch rockets to place satellites into low earth orbits.

So, what is the problem?

Now, I only got one vote in the Vermont primary election, my own. But because I love our Mother Earth, and I believe I am the best candidate, even though I couldn’t go out and get petition signatures to get on the ballot due to arthritis, and no one would help me, and I am kicked out of most social media….well, so, I am asking you for write-in votes for the Nov. 3, 2026 general election in Vermont because I think Congressperson Becca Balint is not solving our problems. There are plenty of other choices, but I don’t think Gerald Malloy, Republican, is the answer to loving Mother Earth, and I don’t think Suzanne Seymore, Independent, is the answer, and then there are 3 more independent candidates whose names will be on the ballot: Adam Ortiz, Independent, who ran in 2024 and is trying again. Phoenix K. Altair, (who? couldn’t find info, seems to be living out-of-state) Independent, and Ryan P. Walton (huh? no picture of this alleged person on website) Independent. So, there will be 6 names on the ballot for Representative to Congress, and I’m still telling you I’m the best candidate, even though I’m not on the ballot. In fact, this year, I’m already starting to see other write-in candidates speak up. People are just not satisfied with the selection.

  • Billions for NASA and SPACEX but diddly squat for healthcare in Vermont?

    What would 1.5° C change in temperature do to Vermont?
    1.5°C is equal to 34.7°F (absolute temperature), but a change of 1.5°C
    in climate goals is equal to 2.7°F. Huh? I need a better source than an
    online chat room. Whatever, a 34° F degree difference in temperature
    seasonally would devastate Vermont unless we switch to growing
    mangoes and oranges. Florida will lose all of their population
    and move to Vermont and our schools will be flooded with Cuban kids from
    Florida who can’t speak our version of English.
    But the 2.7°F degree change some predict would appeal to me right now.
    Nights are already getting colder here in Vermont.

    Let’s start again with better facts.

    What am I accusing U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders and U.S. Senator Peter Welch and U.S. Congressperson Becca Balint of?
    Taking legally obtained money (from taxpayers) and using it (voting for it in US Congress) for illegal purposes (how many members of US Congress “know” that NASA gives funds to Spacex and Spacex is polluting our planet?) is generally defined as misappropriation of funds, embezzlement, or terrorist financing (reverse money laundering).

    Is it actually illegal for Elon Musk and his Spacex to pollute our planet so severely that
    the climate changes overall by a 2.7°F degree change?

    But wait, wait, here’s the part where our Vermont Congressional Delegation is either corrupt
    or
    they are just not paying attention!
    U.S. Representative Becca Balint voted in favor of funding NASA for fiscal year 2026.
    She voted “Aye” on H.R. 6938, the consolidated Commerce, Justice, Science; Energy and Water Development; and Interior and Environment Appropriations Act, 2026.
    The Date: The House vote took place on January 8, 2026.

    So what? What does that prove?

    NASA is a United States government agency funded by appropriations passed by the U.S. Congress which are OUR TAXPAYER DOLLARS, providing NASA an annual budget of roughly $24.4 billion.
    SpaceX has received over $14 billion in cumulative funding from NASA through fixed-price development and service contracts since 2008.

    So! Our Vermont Congressional Delegation and Representative Becca Balint
    VOTED TO FUND ELON MUSK’s SPACEx with Billions and billions of our hard earned
    tax dollars!

    But wait, wait, did she even bother to think about what she did? Do you want to vote for someone who doesn’t think things through? Do you want to vote for someone who doesn’t consider the end result of their actions?

    All Congressperson Becca Balint did was VOTE for BILLIONS for NASA, and then NASA gave some of those billions of our hard earned tax dollars to SpaceX, and then SpaceX started polluting our planet.
    And everyone in Florida may pack up and move to Vermont when it gets too hot in Florida and the real estate agents from Florida are worse than Aligators ready to bite us and use the real estate agents association to give campaign donations to our Vermont Legislators to incentivize them to increase our property taxes so they can force us to leave our homes and sell them to those people from Florida.

    Now, slow down, let’s go back to the very beginning. The problem is that SpaceX is polluting our planet. This is very serious, and when Members of the United States Congress, House and Senate VOTE to give one entity billions of dollars without thinking about HOW they are going to disperse those funds, we have a NEED to vote someone else into office. We have to vote out the lazy legislators who don’t bother to follow the money trail.

    Abstract
    Large constellations of small satellites will significantly increase the number of objects orbiting the Earth.
    Satellites burn up at the end of service life during reentry, generating aluminum oxides as the main byproduct.
    These are known catalysts for chlorine activation that depletes ozone in the stratosphere.

    Estimates suggest satellite debris could rival the amount of naturally
    occurring meteor dust in the atmosphere by 2040.

    When satellites reach the end of their lifetimes, they fall from orbit and burn up in Earth’s atmosphere.
    This litters the stratosphere with metallic aerosol particles like aluminum oxide, or alumina.
    New research modeling this process suggests that by 2040, there would be enough alumina in the stratosphere to alter wind speeds and temperatures at the poles and impact Earth’s climate in ways scientists don’t fully understand.
    As of now, there are about 5,500 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). But constellations of LEO satellites are growing as companies like Starlink increasingly use them to provide broadband internet access.
    In 2022, the Government Accountability Office estimated there could be more than 60,000 LEO satellites by 2040, each with a lifespan of about five years.
    At that rate, a satellite would burn up in the atmosphere every one to two days, depositing 10,000 metric tons of alumina in the upper atmosphere.
    That’s equivalent to about 150 space shuttles vaporizing in the atmosphere every year.
    The new study, published in the Journal of Geophysical Research: Atmospheres,
    suggests that much alumina could alter polar vortex speeds,
    heat up parts of the mesosphere by as much as 1.5 degrees Celsius,
    and impact the ozone layer.

  • Oh No! The Satellite News Just Got Worse!

    SpaceX and Blue Origin have filed proposals with the FCC to launch tens of thousands—or up to a million—specialized AI-compute satellites into low Earth orbit (LEO).

    WHY did they do that?

    Data centers demand staggering amounts of electricity and water for cooling, with energy consumption projected to double by 2030.
    Orbiting data centers tap into uninterrupted solar power and use space’s vacuum for thermal radiation, bypassing terrestrial land, water scarcity, and grid bottlenecks.

  • ORBITAL DATA CENTERS ARE COMING TO CLOUD THE EARTH!

    First, I want to remind you that the U.S. Congress, including Representative Becca Balint, VOTED to give BILLIONS of dollars (OUR hard earned tax dollars!!!) to NASA which then gave BILLIONS to ELON MUSK’s SPACEX and then they proceeded to pollute Mother Earth because the Satellites transmit information to the Data Centers BUT the Satellites decompose within about 5 years and pollute our Ozone layer.

    So, now they have a brilliant idea! Here’s the newest plan!
    They are going to shrink the Data Centers by miniaturizing them and instead of having them on Earth, they will be Orbiting in Space above Earth.

    I would like to post technical details but it takes a huge amount of space
    to go into it all, so I will be brief, but obviously this is a hot ticket job item
    if you have the skills to work on this subject. The point is that Elon Musk,
    SpaceX and a lot of other companies have been told, quite clearly, by
    the public, that American citizens do not want their sources of drinking
    water polluted and given to Data Centers and they don’t want their utility bills
    raised to support Data Centers. Therefore, Elon Musk, SpaceX and others,
    are planning on putting millions of satellites that function as Orbital Data Centers up into outer space (rather than building Data Centers on Earth)
    where they will be powered by the Sun (solar power).

    If you are job hunting I would suggest possibilities might exist at these
    companies:
    Starcloud (formerly Lumen Orbit);
    Axiom Space;
    Aetherflux;
    Lonestar Data Holdings has successfully tested data center payloads on the lunar surface;
    Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), testing AI/ML workloads aboard the International Space Station
    SpaceX with Starlink filed applications for a satellite constellation to house orbital data racks;
    Google, Suncatcher, is designing constellations of solar-powered satellites;
    Blue Origin, Jeff Bezos filed FCC plans for tens of thousands of sun-synchronous satellites;
    NVIDIA provides radiation-hardened space computing architectures to power the satellites built by Starcloud, Axiom, and others.

    Now, here’s the most important thing they are doing: miniaturizing. Some Observatories have
    complained that they won’t be able to see and study stars anymore with all of this space junk
    out there, millions of Data Center Satellites clogging up the view.

    Besides, who is going to be able to live on Earth if the planet heats up too much from all of these Orbital Data Centers? Orbital data centers are designed with a short 3-to-5-year lifespan, they decompose in Earth’s atmosphere at the end of that cycle, and environmental scientists warn that they could severely damage the ozone layer.

    So, make them smaller and keep Earth livable a little while longer. Think about all of the things we use that have been miniaturized, wrist watches rather than grandfather clocks, etc.
    The winners in the Orbital Data Center race to control Space and Earth (this is really creepy, bad enough that Elon Musk has been crowned the richest man on Earth because the U.S. Congress voted to give billions of dollars to NASA and NASA has given billions of dollars to Elon Musk’s SpaceX) The goal is to miniaturize an orbital data center while maintaining the computing capacity of a massive Data Center facility, like the ones people are protesting on Earth.
    Shrinking an orbital data center requires radical innovations across four major engineering pillars.
    I will spare you the details, this is a huge amount of information and if you are an engineer you are probably all perky with excitement by now.

    I asked Google WHY can’t they just add a chemical so that when a satellite decomposes,
    instead of the decomposition products eroding the ozone layer,
    by adding a chemical then they would not do that?

    So, here is a cut and paste from google’s response:

    There is currently no known chemical additive that can be injected
    or mixed into a satellite
    during its high-temperature atmospheric reentry
    to neutralize ozone-depleting compounds.

    Why Additives Do Not Work:

    The decomposition of a satellite in orbit is not a controlled chemical reaction;
    it is a violent process called thermal ablation.
    As a satellite plummets through the atmosphere at hypersonic speeds
    (between 50 and 85 kilometers high), extreme frictional heat tears the structure apart
    and vaporizes its components.

    The primary threat to the ozone layer comes from the satellite’s aluminum body reacting with atmospheric oxygen to form aluminum oxide (\(Al_{2}O_{3}\)) nanoparticles,
    which act as long-lasting catalysts that activate ozone-destroying chlorine.
    Because the satellite is disintegrating rapidly, any stored chemical additive
    would instantly separate from the metal, vaporize independently,
    and fail to prevent the aluminum from oxidizing.

    Instead of trying to treat the chemical mixture during reentry,
    scientists and space agencies are focusing on altering the satellite’s core design
    or material composition before launch.

    Material Substitution (The “Wooden Satellite” Approach): The most viable solution
    is replacing aluminum with materials that do not form metallic oxide catalysts when burned.

    For example, researchers have developed and launched wooden satellites
    (such as Japan’s Lignosat project).
    Wood burns up entirely into harmless water vapor and carbon dioxide.
    Alternative Materials: Engineering spacecraft using specialized non-reactive polymers
    or alternative carbon-composite materials that do not leave behind destructive metallic aerosols.

    The goal is modifying satellite designs so they do not fully vaporize in the upper atmosphere,
    so instead, they can be guided down via controlled de-orbit paths
    to crash intact into remote ocean zones,
    bypassing atmospheric vapor pollution entirely.

    Google then asks me:
    Would you like to explore how wooden satellites
    are designed to survive the vacuum of space?

    My answer: No, then then Elon Musk would chop down all the trees in Vermont!!!

    Specialized Hardware: Data centers use thousands of graphic cards and special chips designed to process data fast.
    Constant Operation: AI systems must run 24 hours a day, requiring heavy cooling systems and backup power to avoid stopping.

    The Energy and Resource Challenge
    High Power Use: The Department of Energy notes that data centers could use up to 12% of U.S. electricity by 2028.
    Local Grid Strain: Rapid building of these facilities creates high demand for new power sources and transmission lines.

    “Artificial Superintelligence” means:

    An artificial intelligence system that exhibits or can easily be modified to exhibit capabilities that match or exceed human cognitive performance and capabilities across a broad range of domains or tasks. Or AI systems that have sufficient capabilities to plan and execute the disempowerment of
    humanity, including by overthrowing or undermining the U.S. government.

    • Pausing advanced AI development until a new, federal AI regulatory body is up and running and has established clear rules and model review processes to ensure safe and secure development and deployment of AI.

    Establishing a new cabinet-level federal agency to safeguard the public from the dangers of artificial intelligence, including by enforcing a prohibition on artificial superintelligence.

    This agency will be advised by an Artificial Intelligence Advisory Board comprised of experts on artificial intelligence to provide independent scientific and technical advice on matters related to artificial intelligence.

    The agency will: 
    Monitor frontier AI systems at all stages of the lifecycle for dangerous capabilities. 
    Supervise the removal of dangerous capabilities like subverting shutdown commands or conducting unauthorized cyberattacks.
    Supervise the destruction of artificial superintelligence.

    • Setting penalties for any person or entity that attempts to violate or circumvent the pauses and prohibitions laid out in this bill.

    ENTITIES SHALL BE SUBJECT to the CORPORATE DEATH PENALTY

    Entities shall be subject to the corporate death penalty,
    and persons shall be subject to not more than 20 years in prison,
    which is similar to existing penalties related to unlawfully developing nuclear weapons.

    • Working to ban superintelligence around the world by setting the international policy of the United States to pursue international agreements, allied coordination, and policies such as export controls to prevent the development of artificial superintelligence anywhere in the world.
